Susan Orlie reports different spelling and info = Isom HIATT settled in the Logan co,OH area around 1812. He was originally from Guilford Co, NC. He moved to Iowa in 1841. My ancestor was Ruth HIATT. It seems likely she was the daughter of Isom HIATT and Mary Irwin. But I could use more on this. If anyone has anything on her please send it my way. I'm also interested on what became of those of this family who went to Henry co,IA in 1841: Isom, Mary, William and wife Rebecca, Elizabeth and Eunice. !BIRTH-SPOUSE-CHILDREN-DEATH: Ancestral File; ; The Church of Jesus C hrist of Latter-day Saints, CD-ROM dated 21 Aug 1992, Information sub mitted by...; St George Regional FHC/FamilySearch Home Field Trial, s earched Jan-Mar 1995;spouse: >Erwin, Mary Irwin (1781 - 1859)
