SQUARE FEET AND ACRES and Check your Math Closure
If your object or parcel is a complete and perfect rectangle or square it is easy to
calculate the square feet and/or acres. But, if you have a parcel, lot or tract of land,
it is almost never one is exactly in a shape easy to calculate the area.
If a perfect square or rectangle: Multiply the length by
the width (one side by the other side or an average thereof) and the resulting number is
square feet (if you entered the length by feet) divide the answer by 43560 to get the
number of acres or part of an acre.
If not a perfect shape, you can calculate the area by many other
